One of my favorite kirtan singers will perform in the NYC area. Karnamrita is incredible and will perform this Friday @ Ashtanga New York on Broome & Crosby.

Heart Melting Kirtan in August!

Some how I convinced my favorite kirtan singer to pack up and do two performances in upstate New York.  My friend Gaura Vani, who although American, grew up in India and has been doing kirtan since childhood.  He's released one CD called  AS KINDRED SPIRITS "nectar of devotion" (availble www.gauravani.com) which is in my opinion phenomenal and one of my favorite cd's of all time. He just sent me 4 songs from his upcoming CD which knocked me over. It's pure audio love!  

That being said: Gaura and his wife (a classical Indian dancer) as well as friends and muscians will do two performances.
